The group meets weekly during term times, and there are four terms per year, each about 10 weeks long (same dates as ACT public schools), with 2-week break between terms.
The fees include all craft, baking, woodworking, badges, supplies and tools; as well as membership to Scouts Australia, insurance and Scout hall maintenance.
Most Pfadfinder families pay their fees annually, and some elect to pay by the term. There are 4 terms each year.
Annual fees are due upon joining and by each February thereafter, or term fees are due in week 1 of each term.
The fees for 2026 are:
New starters:
A one-off $25 fee upon joining, for your scout scarf and woggle. Plus the annual fee below.
Annual fee for new starters and returnees:
$370 for the year, if you pay all at once at the beginning of Term 1, for Terms 1 to 4.
It is $120 per term, if you pay by the term.
$322 for Terms 2, 3 and 4, if you join part way through the year and pay it all at once at the beginning of Term 2.
Your prompt payment is greatly appreciated, as it means less hassling you and less time for volunteers chasing up overdue payments.
Other costs
The group also holds camps, sleepovers or excursions occasionally on weekends or during school holidays. Costs for those depend on the event, and vary from $0 to $45 per event. It is estimated that $60 per year would cover an average year, and these extras are of course optional (or ask us about funding assistance if you need to).

If you have not paid your fees, you won’t be able to leave your child at the Scouts without a parent/guardian.
